The finished home:

We are about to show you the right way to do basement, split slab, or retaining walls project. This method

is "the right way" simply because it gets the wall built for less money and in less time. This method using

PolySteel forms is much quicker and more cost effective for the builder. If you want to take a look at how

NOT to do a similar job visit this link.

8" Flat Wall Block being staged for this retaining wall.

Below Jody Jones with Russell Eppright Custom Homes and Matt McCoy of South River Construction talk over

the job and look at the plans.

A closer look at the water proofing going into the slab knotch and the rebar dowels already sticking out of

the slab. The chalk line shows the edge of the PolySteel Form blocks towards the inside wall of the home.

That chalk line is where the inside wall sheetrock will be screwed up as no internal wood wall is required.

End section before it is capped.

A good view down into the top of the wall. Those are #8 rebar.

Below the wall is completely stacked and braced ready for concrete. This took the crew 3 days!

On the 4th day the wall is being poured - while clean up goes on below.

Here is the wall with waterproofing and some back fill.
